Abstract
In the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic in Denmark, The Green Museum (Det Grønne Museum) launched a project to collect and document the history of Danish mink farming, prompted by the abrupt shutdown of the industry during the pandemic due to public health concerns. Among other things, the project demonstrated that the museum is in need of an update to meet the challenges of 21st-century museum practice.
