Abstract

This half day tutorial will provide participants with a short introduction to the PREMIS Data Dictionary [1] as well as to basic methods of implementations. The goal is for attendees to have a basic understanding of what PREMIS is, how digital preservation metadata can be used in processes and how the data dictionary can be implemented in workflows and systems.
