Abstract
Climate change is affecting archaeologicalsites around the world. More frequentextreme weather events, highertemperatures and rising sea levels notonly create new risks but also exacerbateexisting vulnerabilities and threats. Canwe do anything and how much are wewilling to do in order to protect ourarchaeological sites from climate change?Do we have a plan for how to handlethe situation? These are some of thequestions that are increasingly being askedby archaeologists and cultural heritagemanagers around the world. This articlefocuses on the situation in Denmark andthe considerations that I believe needs tobe made in order to handle the situation.
