Description
This ongoing research project is directly connected to the curating of an exhibition at The Mestrovic Pavilion / HDLU and is as such an important part of the practical element of my PhD project funded by Novo Nordisk Foundation’s Mads Øvlisen PhD Scholarship for Practice-Based research.
The exhibition will focus on a new work of art by Ismar Cirkinagic. I am involved in the production, conceptualization and dissemination of the exhibition. In the process, the practical curatorial experiences are linked to a number of theoretical analyzes within art and cultural history. The project was started in the summer of 2020 and continues towards the planned exhibition opening in July 2021.
