Curriculum
Anders Toftgaard is a senior researcher at the Royal Danish Library, Copenhagen. MA in comparative literature, he received his Ph.D.-degree in Italian from the University of Copenhagen in 2006 and is specialized in book history - and in Renaissance French and Italian literature. His most recent publications are articles on Otto Thott, book history in Denmark, Mazarinades and Giacomo Castelvetro. Previously, he has published a book in Danish on the birth of the novella genre in 14th c. Italy and has edited (with Michael Høxbro Andersen) the anthology Dialogo e conversazione (Olschki, 2012).
