Curriculum

Anders Toftgaard is a senior researcher at the Royal Danish Library, Copenhagen. MA in comparative literature, he received his Ph.D.-degree in Italian from the University of Copenhagen in 2006 and is specialized in Renaissance French and Italian literature - and in book history. His most recent publications are articles on Montaigne, Giacomo Castelvetro, book history in Denmark and Mazarinades. He has published a book in Danish on the birth of the novella genre in 14th c. Italy and has edited (with Michael Høxbro Andersen) the anthology Dialogo e conversazione (Olschki, 2012).
