Abstract
The 30th Annual meeting of the AG Mesolithikum, from the 18th to 20th March 2022, was hosted by Museum Lolland-Falster, Nykøbing, Falster, Denmark. <
This was also the first in-person meeting, aftertwo years of Covid-related cancellations and digital workshops. This short summary of the conference provides abstracts of the different contributions. Around 50 people participated (Figure 1) with 29 presentations in a two-day programme. Speakers were from Germany, Denmark, Austria, Poland, Sweden, and Lithuania. The presentations dealt, as usual, notonly with the Mesolithic, but also with the Late Palaeolithic and Neolithic. While the first two dayswere used for the scientific programme, the traditional excursion on the last day visited several ar-chaeological sites. Among these were Denmark’s most southerly kitchen midden, Sparregård, and theLOLA exhibition at the Stiftsmuseum Maribo, where several finds from the Femern-project, conductedin connection with the construction of the Fehmarnbelt-tunnel between Denmark and Germany, areexhibited (e.g. Sørensen 2016).The section below presents summaries of a selection of the talks, ranging in topic from site presenta-tions to methodological discussions and recent discoveries.
