Sustainable Stabilization of Archaeological Iron

PhD project focusing on a new sustainable method of removing chloride from archaeological iron. The study includes reburial of archaeological iron in a protective and reducive environment (waterlogger peat) where changes to the artects, corrosion products, microbiome, and surrounding environment are investigated
